Terms and Conditions of Four Rivers Association of REALTORS® Board Membership

• I understand I will need to attend FRAR New Membership Orientation within 120 days of the Association’s confirmation of provisional membership. (NAR Requirement) 
• Failure to meet this requirement may result in having my membership terminated.
• To the FOUR RIVERS ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, I hereby apply for REALTOR® Membership in the above-named Board and will provide my payment in the amount of $150 for a one-time application fee and my membership dues payable to FOUR RIVERS ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. 
• Your Broker must first belong to the Association you are applying for, and your dues amount will be based on your Broker Sponsorship Date, not the date of application nor membership processing date. 
• In the event of my election, I agree to abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®, which includes the duty to arbitrate, and the Constitution, Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the above-named Board, the State Association and the National Association, and if required, I further agree to satisfactorily complete a reasonable and non-discriminatory written examination on such Code, Constitutions, Bylaws and Rules and Regulations. I understand membership brings certain privileges and obligations that require compliance. Membership is final only upon approval by the Board of Directors and may be revoked should completion of requirements, such as orientation, not be completed within the timeframe established in the association’s bylaws. I understand that I will be required to complete periodic Code of Ethics training as specified in the association’s bylaws as a continued condition of membership.

Our Membership Department will send you the full amount required for membership. Please look for an email with further processing instructions and fee information. Please do NOT call to make payment or send documents prior to receiving this email. We require ONE-TWO business days, after receiving payment and all required documents, to process membership.  There are no refunds payable on application fees and membership dues.

NOTE FOR ETHICS ARBITRATION: Applicant acknowledges that if accepted as a member and he/she subsequently resigns from the Board or otherwise causes membership to terminate with an ethics complaint pending, the Board of Directors may condition renewal of membership upon applicant’s certification that he/she will submit to the pending ethics proceeding and will abide by the decision of the hearing panel. If applicant resigns or otherwise causes membership to terminate, the duty to submit to arbitration continues in effect even after membership lapses or is terminated, provided the dispute arose while applicant was a REALTOR®.

Terms and Conditions for CTXMLS Access 

Central Texas MLS rules only allow for one user per login and password. It is considered an Egregious Offense if you are caught sharing passwords and an automatic $1000 fine.  

Appeals for fines and violations will be submitted to the CTXMLS Advisory Council for review. 

CTXMLS Users will review and abide by the CTXMLS Rules & Regulations provided to each user for the cooperation of MLS data in the system.  

Staff Users and Personal Assistants will need to join the Central Texas MLS Subscription Service and obtain their own login/password for the system.

If the individual is already a participating subscriber of CTXMLS, and no additional login is required, there is no setup fee, they will just be linked to that participating office/member.

If the individual is a new subscriber of CTXMLS, there is a fee of $100.00 for the account and login setup.

Users are aware they are a subscriber of a Regional MLS and the Four Rivers Association of REALTORS® does not own CTXMLS but is only one shareholder of CTXMLS.
